Position Title: Lifeguard

Location: Selangor
Reports To: Operations Manager/Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers by preventing and responding to emergencies. Additionally, the Lifeguard will assist with water pool maintenance to ensure a clean and safe swimming environment.

Working Hours & Days:

  • Working Hours: From 8.00 am to 5.00pm
  • Work Days: 5 Days a week

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety and Supervision:
    • Monitor swimming activities to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Enforce pool rules and regulations.
    • Respond quickly to emergencies, perform rescues, and administer first aid/CPR as needed.
  2. Water Pool Maintenance:
    • Conduct regular water quality tests and maintain records.
    • Adjust chemical levels to ensure safe and clean pool water.
    • Inspect pool facilities and equipment for cleanliness and safety, and report any issues to the supervisor.
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as skimming debris, vacuuming the pool, and cleaning pool decks and restrooms.
  3. Client Interaction:
    • Provide excellent customer service to pool patrons.
    • Answer questions and provide information about pool policies and programs.
    • Assist in organizing and overseeing swimming activities and events.
  4. Training and Certification:
    • Maintain current lifeguard, CPR, and first aid certifications.
    • Participate in regular training and drills to ensure readiness for emergencies.
    • If you do not currently hold lifeguard certification, we offer certification programs to help you qualify.
  5. Compliance:
    • Follow all company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (or willingness to obtain certification through our provided programs).
  • Current CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification through our provided programs).
  • Basic swimming skills and physical fitness.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stay alert and respond quickly in emergency situations.
  • Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not required.
