As a pivotal member of our team, you will ensure the highest quality of our software applications through meticulous testing and effective project management. This role requires a sharp technical acumen and robust leadership skills to oversee project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual quality assurance on software projects, including smoke tests, pre-release checks, and verification of bug fixes and new features.
• Reproduce users’ reported issues, track and prioritize bugs, and refine issue cards into workable tasks, ensuring effective bug resolution and system improvements.
• Develop and maintain test cases for smoke testing, new features, and to prevent regression of reported bugs.
• Collaborate with product owners, clients, designers, tech leads, and engineers to define clear, actionable requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Manage task assignments and follow up on task progress, ensuring all project phases are completed on time and meet established standards.
• Regularly communicate project status to all stakeholders, consolidating updates and facilitating decision-making through effective information sharing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in roles such as software tester, UAT tester, or junior product owner; fresh graduates with relevant project experience are encouraged to apply.
• Fluent in both English and Malay, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent at collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing relationships.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in bug tracking and workflow optimization.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce comprehensive documentation.
• Skilled in coordinating with stakeholders to establish clear, actionable requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Is eager to learn new skills, and willing to adapt to changing environments and challenges.

Good to Have Skills/Experience:

• Experience in similar software development projects/teams.
• Previous work in a formal software QA team.
• Familiarity with the nuances of good vs. bad web and mobile applications.
